Lady Andino Robson, a frontline aspirant for Ibesikpo Asutan State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly come 2023, has promised giving effective representation to her people when voted to represent them in the hallowed Chamber.
Lady Robson made the promise last weekend while unveiling her campaign Organisation – Ekeminiabasi Campaign Team with Hon. Ekong Udoeyop the immediate past Leader of the Ibeskpo Asutan Legislative Council as her campaign Director General – DG.
Other members of the Campaign Organisation are: Nsobom Kufre Etuk – Secretary, Elder.Uduak Ekpo – Adviser, Mrs.Nkoyo Abel – Women Coordinator, Comrade Nsisong Kekewani EyohUmoh – Coordinator Media and Publicity, and Comrade Emmanuel Aqua – Deputy Coordinator Media and Publicity.
Addressing members of the Campaign Organisation and other key supporters present during the epochal event, she pledged living up to her Legislative expectations and integrating into the business of the House for the general good of Ibesikpo Asutan State Constituency.
Andino assured that she shall be committed to her core Legislative mandates of representing, legislating and oversigting.
Speaking on the choice of Hon. Udoeyop as her campaign DG, Lady Robson said her decision emanated from the backdrop of his antecedents driven by integrity, humility, leadership and capacity on all fronts.
The SA to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Project Monitoring remained optimistic that with the composition of members of Ekeminiabasi Campaign Organisation, victory awaits them at the polls come the party primaries and subsequent general election in 2023.
In his acceptance speech, the DG of the campaign Organisation, Hon. Udoeyop said he shall work assiduously with the team members to ensure Lady Andino Robson emerged winner at the primaries and in the general election. This according to him is to justify the confidence and trust reposed on them as king makers.
Other members of the Campaign Organisation who made their commitment during the unveiling/inauguration exercise were: the secretary general – NsobomKufre Etuk and the women cordinator – Mrs. Nkoyo Abel they all promised working in unity to usher the aspirant into office.
The ceremony reached its crescendo with the official unveiling/inauguration of the Ekeminiabasi Campaign Organisation and its central working committee members.
It could be recalled that Lady Andino Robson who is currently serving as SA to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Project Monitoring is laced with uncommon zeal, passion and commitment towards adding value to her community, Ibesikpo Asutan and Akwa Ibom State by extension.
Over the years, she has proved herself to be entrusted with position of power as her calm demeanour with vast guess on achievement of set goals and targets have distinguished her out as the best aspirant seeking to represent the people of Ibesikpo Asutan State Constituency in the State House of Assembly.
According to the zoning arrangement of Ibesikpo Asutan State Constituency, Lady Robson, a daughter of Asutan Clan is favoured by zoning as the current House of Assembly member, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Uko who will be completing his second term bid hails from Ibesikpo Clan of the Local Government Area.
Although there are other aspirants from the Asutan Clan vying for the Ibesikpo Asutan State House of Assembly seat, the SA to Governor Udom Emmanuel is ranking top amongst all contestant with her wealth of experience and ability to utilise team spirit in achieving her goals, a much needed prerequisite of a Lawmaker to succeed in the politics of lawmaking.
Again, she is also favoured with the fact that more women are needed to balance up with the male dominated Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, a trend that has been going on for many Assemblies of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.
In order to achieve the much agitated 35% affirmative action in the State, Lady Andino Robson stands a better chance of winning the election for a superlative performance and representation to Ibsekipo Asutan State Constituency.
