Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State has just dissolved female youth Council and female Youth Caucus in Akwa Ibom State.

The Governor made the dissolution sequel to a thank you meet with leaders and members of the Association.
Female Youth Council and Female Caucus are socio-political Associationa in Akwa lbom State.
At the meeting he specifically appreciated leaders and members of Female Youth Council and Female Youth Caucus for their support and numerous contribution during and after his second term elections campaigns.

Governor Emmanuel doled out palliatives and other packages to the organisations.
The meeting was attended by the honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Sir Monday Ebong Uko, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Matters, Mr. Aniefiok Wilson Iwaudofia and Coordinator of Family Empowerment and Youth Reorientation Path Initiative (FEYREP), Mrs. Ime Inyang.
Also, in attendance at the meeting were all the female youth leaders and Female Caucus leaders, respectively.
However, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Youth Matters, Mr. Aniefiok Iwaudofia said,” a new formation will be reconstituted soon by Governor Emmanuel.
He said the dissolution should not call for any apprehension in the system because the Governor is youth – loving and will always do everything to promote the interest of the youth and their participation in the state building.
It could be recalled that during the just concluded 2019 gubernatorial election of Governor Udom Emmanuel into his second term in office, female youths played major role of cheerleaders and glamour to campaigns.
They also added colour to the Local Government Areas electioneering campaigns with their royal and fertile colours uniforms.
Itmis believe the group has been rewared by the recent appointment of one of their leaders Miss Edna as SA to Governor Udom Emmanuel.
