In less than three months in office, the impact of representation of Senator Akon Eyakenyi is already felt by her constituents.
Akon Eyakenyi has not only given Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District a voice at the National Assembly but has partnered with an engineering firm, Philipco Engineering Services to train youth of Oron Federal Constituency in oil and gas field including scaffolding, rigging, welding, safety and security, etc.

Indeed, she is the new face of representation and hope of Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District at the National Assembly and will change the narrative of representation in the Senatorial District.
It could be recalled that last two weeks, 200 youths from Mkpat Enin local government Area graduated from the Same Oil and Gas Academy in collaboration with Philipco Engineering Ltd as trainers.
The future seems brighter for Akwa Ibom youths as they take hold of fishing hooks in the oil and gas industry.
It behooves Akwa Ibom representatives in the NASS Assemblies, State Parliamentarians, Local Government Chairmen and other political office holders to key into this lucrative venture and avail their youths opportunity of acquiring these skills.
