In a bold and determined move, the Young Progressives Party (YPP) is set to inaugurate its party offices across the state.
The event which will last the next two weeks, starts this morning (August 23, 2022), from Okobo Local Government by 11am.
Senator Albert Bassey Akpan (OBA), the party’s gubernatorial flag-bearer and his running mate, AIG Asuquo Amba(retd) will lead other candidates to the occasion expected to attract a number of new entrants and defectors into the party.
According to a time-table released by the state chairman of the party, Pastor Nyenime Andy, the first day of the event will cover three local governments, namely Okobo, Urue Offong/Oruko and Onna.
Some of the local governments ready for the unveiling of the imposing office-edifices include Ibesikpo Asutan, Oron, Ikot Ekpene, Ikot Abasi, Okobo, Ikono.
Others are: Onna, Mbo, Udung Uko, Essien Udim, Eastern Obolo, Etinan, Nsit Ubium, Nsit Ibom, Mkpat Enin, Ibiono Ibom, among others.
It is expected that the outings will help sensitise the members and the electorate more on the symbol and ideals of YPP as well as its determination for genuine service to the suffering masses of Akwa Ibom State.
