The latest development has douse prolonged anxiety over how OBA was to actualise his God-backed mission. It should be recalled that his emergence followed the withdrawal of Apostle Nyeneime Andy as the governorship candidate of YPP. That was in line with the 2922 Electoral act.
Now, there is no need for positive minded persons to swerve again since OBA is finally on the ballot and with him, a “ballot revolution”is expected to sweep across the state like wildfire, next year.
YPP welcomes all and has sufficient space to accommodate all Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora, regardless of region, religion, tribe, language, political affiliations, and personal ideologies.
The YPP logo is a bunch of fresh leaves. That represents the arrival of possibilities, vibrancy, rebirth, luxuriance, fecundity, fulfillment, insurance and hope made material by Providence.
The firm hand holding the leaves represents the Akwa Ubok Abasi (God Almighty’s hand). The leaves do not only represent victory but an invitation to a new dawn.
Like Destiny Akasio write recently, the YPP logo “escorts us into the innermost chambers of the entire concept – vision, essence, and mission, which informed the choice of the inspiring mantra: ‘Service to the people’”!
As the door of YPP has been widely opened for OBA and other cheated aspirants to advance towards a new dawn with the right thinking electorate, those who want to be part of a victorious team under a people-friendly personality are crossing over to join him on the unstoppable trip.
The senator is someone who turns anything and everything he touches into gold. So his midas touch has transferred enormous goodwill and popularity to YPP to make the party a preferred destination of choice to majority of the voting population.
All the desperate attempts to reconcile, reorganize and patch the umbrella party is in futility. And even if all other aggrieved governorship aspirants team up behind the governor’s preferred successor, it cannot diminish OBA’s popularity, his strength and overwhelming capacity as well as divine grace to win the forthcoming governorship election.
It is time for Akwa Ibom people to be rescued from the hands of cruel, anti-people and visionless leadership team in PDP through a people-friendly personality coming to run a people-centered administration from 2023.
