Ukanafun Lawmaker Reiterates Commitment to Fulfil Campaign Promises

To maintain the nickname given to him by his Constituents “MR. TALK AND DO”, the honourable member representing Ukanafun State constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House Of Assembly, Hon. (Elder) Emem Udom has reiterated his commitment in keeping to all his campaign promises.

The Lawmaker disclosed this in his office Monday, during a courtesy visit by Emem    Udom Solidarity Movement (EMUSON), a leading political group that contributed immensely towards the victory of the Lawmaker at the poll.

Hon. Udom who doubles as Chairman of, House Committee on Inter-Governmental, Political, and Special Matters reassured members of the group that he would make sure all members benefit in one way or the other.

He further said that he would soon start the disbursement of nonrefundable loans to his constituents, which according to him, would be in batches.

The speaking Lawmaker seized the opportunity to give a piece of advice to some youths of Ukanafun who have started kidnapping again which is disturbing the peace of the area, adding that they should desist from such an illegal act.  He hinted that any culprit will face the music.t

Ukanafun lawmaker thanked the group for their support right from the inception of his aspiration till date, and for also being the first group to pay him a courtesy visit, noting that it’s a sign of love that they have him at heart.

Speaking earlier, the International Coordinator of the group, Mr. Abasiofiok Etokudo thanked the Lawmaker for the warm reception and for approving the courtesy visit despite him not staying up to 3 months in office.

He solicited for inclusion of their members in appointments, financial assistance, scholarship, loans, empowerment, support in Political aspirations, etc.
