Joi Nunieh the Former Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC)
made some shocking revelations against, Sen. Godswill Obot Akpabio, accusing him for corruption in NDDC.
The former Managing Director of the Commission, Dr. Gbene Joy Nunieh said out of the N81billion spent by the Commission between October last year to May this year only N8billion was expended by IMC under her leadership for the months period spent (October 29, 2019 to February 18, 2020).
She alleged whole answering questions from journalists that Akpabio engineered her removal from office for failing to dance to his tunes as regards writing implicating Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta Afrairs, Peter Nwaoboshi on fraudulent contracts awards and execution.

Gov. Udom Feeds Fat On LG Funds, Releases N3m To Chairmen Monthly
Facts have continue to unfold on how the Akwa Ibom State Government control the Local Governments allocations in the State in the name of Joint account arrangement.
A credible source to Global Accord that since Governor Udom Emmanuel came on board in 2015, he has been controlling the funds of the 31 Local Government and give the chairmen only N3 million Naira to run the affairs of the Council.
President Muhammadu Buhari had last year signed an executive order giving Local Governemnt power to get it’s allocation direct from the Federal Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) but some Chairmen loyal to the Governor still return the fund to him after it has entered their Local Government accounts.
Chairmen in Akwa State has earlier rejected financial autonomy for Local Governments and sought legal action to stop it.
3. Umana Umana Arrested By EFCC
The operator of a grand ponzi Scheme: “No Burn Global Limited”, Umana Umana, has been attested by operatives of the Uyo Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
He was arrested recently in a hotel located at the Osongama area of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, following a petition sent to the Commission by Joseph E. Uko, who alleged that Umana swindled him over N2.9million (Two Million, Nine Hundred Naira) and subsequently issued him a a cheque for N500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira) that was never honoured as the account in question was not funded to cover the sum for which the cheque was issued.
