The Member representing Ikot Abasi/Eastern Obolo State Constituency in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Uduak Odudoh has been conferred with a Chieftaincy title; “Obong Uforo Edemaya”.
The conferment was done by Edemaya, the biggest Clan in Ikot Abasi Local Government Areawith twenty three gazetted Villages and several omitted villages, during the coronation ceremony of the second Clan head of the Edemaya.
His highness, Etebom Eniema Odung Eshiet, conferred the chieftaincy title on Hon. Odudoh last weekend, during his coronation ceremony, as the first to be handed a staff of office since the official recognition of Edemaya as a Clan in 1954.
Recall that, on 26th December, 2022, Hon. Odudoh was conferred with a Chieftaincy title:” Obong Unwana Ikpa Nung Asang” while the people of Asuna Nung Oku Clan in Onna Local Government Area, also honoured him with thr title: “Otukekong of Asuna Nung Oku”.
Presenting the title and award of honour, His Highness, Etebom Eniema Odung Essiet, commended Hon. Odudoh for his people centric representation, stressing that the title “Obong Uforo” is their prayer for him to be more successful in his political career.
He further said as the title implied, will bring wealth and progress to the people of Edemaya and Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency in general.
