One of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s Commissioners, Mr. Ephraim Akparawa Inyang-Eyen, has continued to attract recognitions from well-meaning individuals and associations as he bags Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Award, earlier today.
The State Commissioner for Works, Hon. Ephraim Akparawa Inyang-Eyen was honoured by the revered fourth estate of the realm; the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Akwa Ibom State Council.
Award of Excellence was conferred on him for his unquantifiable support to the NUJ and her leadership, at an impressive ceremony being one of the activities marking the valedictory session of the outgoing Executive Council members of the Union at Watbridge Hotels, Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
It is worthy noting that the Akwa Ibom State Works Commissioner, was in November 2017, awarded the Grand Patron of the Union, Zone F( South South Nigeria).
Akparawa Ephraim Inyang-Eyen has been a major contributor to the success story of Mr. Udom Emmanuel’s industrialization agenda and completion agenda of this second term in office.
Works Ministry under his watch over these years has not only opened up new road network within the State but has also initiated and sustained healthy road maintenance mechanism.
Asides from executing budgeted road projects for a fiscal year, the Ministry has in several occasions risen to the yearnings of the people through prompt intervention and took remedial actions when necessary.
He has over the years helped and supported the media through human capacity development and patronage.
