Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly has reeled out activiies marking the end of Sixth Assembly of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly come Thursday, June 6, 2019.
This is contained in the week’s itenary made available to members of the Assembly Press Corps earlier today  by the Chairman, Valedictory Planning Committee and Chief Whip, Sixth Assembly of the State Legislature, Hon. Emmanuel Ekpenyong at the Assembly Complex.
The Chairman, who is representing Ini State Constituency in the present Assembly said that while activites slated for the valedictory session of the House will commence with a thanksgiving Service on Monday June 3rd 2019 at the Assembly Chapel by 9am, the climax is billed for Thursday, June 6 2019 being the valedictory session of Sixth Assembly by 9 am at the Assembly Chambers.
By this information, Hon, Ekpenyong is inviting all stakeholders and the entire Akwa Ibom people to the two ceremonies as the present Assembly is fast paving way for the inauguration of Seventh Assembly soonest.
However, the Valedictory Session of the House shall mark the end of Sixth Assembly of Akwa Ibom State Parliament which was inaugurated in June, 2015.
