2-Day Capacity Building Programme For Akwa Ibom Workers is Ongoing

A Two (2) Day Capacity Building programmes (training workshop) on “Transformation Service Excellence for Akwa Ibom Civil Servants”, is ongoing at 2 venues in Uyo.

The venues are Breakforth Hotel, near Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, and Villa Hilton Hotel, Four Lanes, Uyo. The Capacity Building Programme with  Leverage Business Academy holds in two batches.
 The first batch commenced on Monday, 19th to Tuesday, 20th,  while the 2nd batch holds from Wednesday, 21st to Thursday, 22nd December, 2022.

Declaring the Capacity Building Programme, open today at Villa Hilton Hotel, Uyo, the State Governor, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, said that the training  is packaged to broaden the knowledge base of participants, sharpen their leadership and management skills for transformational service excellence.

He explained that it was in line with government’s commitment to human capacity development for for optimal service delivery.

The Governor, who was represented by the Head of Civil Service, Elder Effiong, urged the participants to harness the knowledge gained to institutionalize a  performance-driven and  reformed public service.

He commended the consulting training firm, Leverage Business Academy for the seasoned resource persons handling the various topics  and for the quality of presentation.

In his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of the consulting training firm, Leverage Business Academy, Mr. Eme Bassey, thanked the state Governor for his investment in training and for  giving them the opportunity to add to the capacity of the workers.

He also expressed gratitude to  the Head of Civil Service, Elder Effiong Essien, for facilitating the training process.
The consultant who adjudged the Akwa Ibom Civil Service as one of the best in the country, assured that with the high profile resource persons selected to handle the various topics, the participants of the capacity building programme stand to be effectively imparted for optimal productivity.
